What is raf file

A RAF is an uncompressed, raw photo image file created by certain Fuji digital cameras, such as the FinePix model. Because they are uncompressed and raw, RAF files tend to be relatively large. RAF files are supported by Fuji’s own image-processing software and other popular image processing programs, such as Photoshop and Lightroom. RAF files can also be converted to smaller and more commonly-supported file types such as JPEG and TIFF by using the aforementioned image editing programs.
